Dr. Rosalyn Best’s journey hasn’t been a walk through "hallowed halls", it has been a battle for survival. Long before she was a Doctor of Theology, she was a teenager struggling with her weight and identity, searching for her place in the world. But those early struggles were only the beginning of a much deeper refining process.
Seven years ago, the world went dark. Dr. Best found herself in a coma, battling for her life after a series of spiritual and physical attacks that left her "coding" several times. The prognosis was grim, and by all medical accounts, she shouldn't be here.
Pulled from the wreckage by her "heroes," Marlene Trusing and Officer Chuck, she didn’t just wake up, she woke up with a mission. She "crossed over" and was allowed to come back because her purpose was not finished.
Today, Dr. Best uses her thirty years of experience in education and twenty years in ministry to speak the truths that others are too afraid to whisper. Whether she is mentoring disadvantaged youth or traveling the globe to share the Gospel, her message is rooted in the "unfiltered truth." She knows firsthand that "S.H.I.T." (Spiritual Heartaches, Injustices, and Trials) happens even in the sanctuary, but she also knows that healing is possible when we stop pretending and start seeking genuine spirituality.
I have served in ministry for over 20 years as a Teacher of the Gospel, a minister of praise and worship, and an evangelist for 18 years. My work has taken me to fascinating places, from the mission fields of West Africa and Ghana to the vibrant streets of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the Netherlands.
My spiritual journey has taken me to unique locations, from deep within local communities to international platforms exploring the intricacies of faith and community dynamics. I believe that genuine spirituality is for everyone, and my goal is to bridge the gap between institutional challenges and everyday spiritual growth. Every book, lesson, and message I share is an opportunity to reveal the unfiltered truth of the sanctuary. I am dedicated to telling stories that not only heal but also inspire readers to ask their own questions about the faith around them. This continuous pursuit of accountability and grace is what drives my passion every single day.

Seven years ago, Dr. Rosalyn Best’s life was nearly silenced in a horrific car accident. Battling for her breath and coding several times, she fell into a deep coma. I am only here today because God placed two specific people in my path when every second counted. Marlene Trusing and Officer Chuck are my "Life Savers." They pulled me from the wreckage of my car and administered the life-sustaining CPR that allowed me to breathe again. While others might call it luck, I know it was a divine appointment. Their refusal to let me die that day is the reason I can share my truth with you now.
This experience was a brutal awakening. It taught me that while spiritual and physical attacks are real, they do not have the final authority. My purpose was not finished. I returned with a mission to unmask the complexities of faith and to help others find healing in their own "broken sanctuaries." I am forever grateful for the wisdom this second chance has imparted, and I am blessed to stand as a living testament that God always has the final word.
